Kia K5 LX
The new K5 LX serves as the base trim. It features remote start tech, cloth upholstery, automatic high-beam headlights, 16-inch alloy wheels, an 8-inch touchscreen display, wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®, and manually adjustable front seats.
Kia K5 LXS
The Kia K5 LXS builds on the LX model's features, gaining a Smart Key with push-button start, an automatic hands-free trunk, split-folding rear seats, and Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist. You can also enhance the model with an available all-wheel drive system.
Kia K5 GT-Line
The new K5 GT-Line brings along some outstanding features such as a leather-wrapped and flat-bottom steering wheel, 18-inch wheels, leather upholstery, second-row USB charging ports, and a power-adjustable driver's seat.
Kia K5 EX
The new Kia K5 EX trim gains wireless device charging, a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, and an available EX Premium package that includes a heated steering wheel, reverse automatic braking, driver's seat memory, and active cabin noise canceling.
Kia K5 GT
The premium K5 GT trim gains several exclusive features, including a 2.5-liter turbo four-cylinder engine, sport-tuned suspension, and steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Additional features include rear parking sensors, sporty front seats, plus the features included in the other trims.
Performance Overview
The 2021 Kia K5 comes with a standard turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 180 horsepower during your Hanford commutes. The engine comes paired with a smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission. The other optional powertrain includes the 2.5-liter turbocharged that pumps out 290 horsepower. It comes mated with a dual-clutch eight-speed automatic transmission. Both engines offer sufficient accelerating power, but the base engine makes a great one to consider for everyday use in Lemoore.
Thanks to its sporty suspension, this vehicle soaks up bumps and ditches on rugged roads, especially when traveling to Exeter, resulting in a smooth and composed ride. It also boasts an excellent braking system that provides adequate stopping power, contributing to a self-assured ride on steep roads. With the base engine, this vehicle returns an EPA-estimated 22 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.
Design
The interior of the new Kia K5 doesn't disappoint with the luxurious features it carries. The 2022 Kia K5 features a user-friendly infotainment system with high-tech components. You can stay connected as you traverse the Tulare area, thanks to the car's Bluetooth connection, Android Auto™, Apple CarPlay®, and USB ports.
